Who is behind this portal

moderne-hochzeitsfotografie.ch is operated by OMN, Zurich (full operator details in the imprint). We are not photographers, and that is deliberate: whoever shoots themselves cannot select neutrally. Our craft is digital visibility and careful selection, the photographers' craft is the image. That division of labour is the concept of this portal.

Only photographers who present complete wedding galleries make it into the selection, not just highlights. We look for consistency across the entire day, including difficult light in the church, at dinner and on the dance floor, for a documentary, timeless handwriting without fashionable filters, and for professional standards: a written contract, a defined illness replacement, dual image backup. They are the same criteria we recommend to couples in our guide, we simply apply them in advance. Whoever does not meet them is not listed, regardless of whether they would pay.

Use is free for couples and comes with no obligation. The portal is financed by the listed photographers, who pay for the referral of inquiries. Importantly: a place in the selection cannot be bought. What is paid for is the referral, not the verdict. No photographer can buy a better assessment or a spot in the selection.

We pass your details only to the photographers who match your inquiry, and to no one else. We do not write paid recommendations, do not invent testimonials, and do not show images of unclear origin. As long as the 2026 selection is being curated, you will see an empty state here instead of invented names. That, too, is part of being honest.
