This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Inquiry form: When you send an inquiry, we process the details you provide, that is wedding date, region, preferred style, budget range, name, email address, optionally venue and message, and the selected language. We also store which page of the website you sent the inquiry from and your browser's technical identifier (user agent).

Email: If you write to us directly by email, we process your email address, your message and the details you share with us in it.

Technical data: To prevent abuse, for example too many inquiries in a short time, we store a check value (hash) calculated from your IP address when you submit an inquiry. We do not store the IP address itself with the inquiry. When you visit the website, our hosting and delivery providers also technically receive your IP address and the usual server data, for example for access logs.

We use your inquiry data to answer your inquiry and to agree with you how we can help you find suitable photographers. This also applies to inquiries by email.

Your inquiry is currently not forwarded to photographers automatically. We only pass your details on to photographers once we have agreed with you which photographers and which details, and you have consented to this. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

Separately, our hosting, database and email providers process your details where this is technically necessary (see "Hosting, database and email"). Beyond that, we do not pass your data on to third parties unless we are legally required to do so. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Please do not send us sensitive personal data, for example about health, that we do not need for your inquiry.

Privacy settings: We only use storage functions that are needed to run this website or that store a setting you choose yourself. Optional visitor statistics are currently disabled. That is why there is currently no choice to make, and we do not store any privacy choice from you.

The following cookies may be set on this website:

• Language preference (pref_locale, set by us): stores your selected language when you switch manually between German and English, for one year. It contains no identifying information. • English hint closed (en_hint_dismissed, set by us): stores that you closed the hint pointing to the English version, for one year. It is only set if you close this hint. • __dpl (set by our host Lovable): set by Lovable when delivering the website, 24 hours. • __cf_bm (set by Cloudflare, which is used to deliver the site): according to Cloudflare, to protect against automated access, 30 minutes.

We currently do not use analytics, marketing or advertising cookies. We do not use these storage functions for advertising or to recognise you across different websites.

Our host Lovable's optional visitor statistics are currently disabled. No optional measurement events are triggered for them. Technically necessary data for delivering and securing the website arises independently of this and is described in the section "Hosting, database and email".

If we want to use visitor statistics later, we will ask for your consent beforehand and update this policy.

The website is hosted by Lovable. Inquiry data is stored in a Supabase database. Notifications about the inquiry form use a separate sending route to our address hello@moderne-hochzeitsfotografie.ch.

Cloudflare is also used to deliver the website and technically receives your IP address in the process. For transfers from Switzerland to countries without an adequate level of data protection, such as the USA, Lovable states that it relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the Swiss addendum. Lovable publishes the further service providers it uses for this in its list of sub-processors.

Some of the emails that we write from our address hello@moderne-hochzeitsfotografie.ch, for example to photographers, are sent via the email service Resend. For this, Resend receives the recipient address, the content of the message including attachments, and technical sending data such as time and delivery status. According to Resend's general information, its processing takes place mainly in the USA; for transfers from Switzerland, Resend relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adapted for Switzerland. The email notifications about the inquiry form mentioned above are sent through a separate route and are not covered by this paragraph.

We receive emails to hello@moderne-hochzeitsfotografie.ch, including the inquiry form notifications, in our mailbox with the email provider Infomaniak.

For our directory, we process professional details about photographers, for example name or business name, region, areas of work, website and editorial information about their way of working. The details come from publicly accessible professional sources or are provided to us directly by the photographers. We use them to display and maintain the entries and for the related communication.

An editorial listing does not automatically mean a referral partnership. Agreements on publication and permissions for images are handled separately. We welcome questions, corrections or objections regarding an entry at hello@moderne-hochzeitsfotografie.ch.

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally. No connections to third-party font services are established and no data is transmitted to them when the site is loaded.

We retain inquiry data for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry, any referral and follow-up questions. After that, we delete it unless a legal retention obligation prevents this. We retain details about photographer profiles for as long as the entry exists or we need them for the related communication.

Subject to the conditions of the Data Protection Act, you can request information about the data concerning you, have inaccurate data corrected and request the deletion or restriction of processing, unless a legal retention obligation or another legal reason prevents this. Please contact the email address above.

If you wish to withdraw your inquiry, we will delete it within the same limits and inform any photographers to whom we passed it on with your consent. Details already passed on are not automatically deleted by them as a result.

We may amend this privacy policy if data processing or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
