This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Inquiry form: When you send an inquiry, we process the details you provide, that is wedding date, region, preferred style, budget range, name, email address, optionally venue and message, and the selected language. These details are necessary to suggest suitable photographers to you.

Technical data: When an inquiry is submitted, we store a one-way encrypted check value (hash) of your IP address to prevent abuse. The IP address itself is not stored in plain text. In addition, the usual technical server data (such as hosting access logs) arises when you visit the website.

We use your inquiry data exclusively to find photographers matching your date, region and style and to establish contact. For this purpose, we forward your inquiry to selected, suitable photographers so they can get in touch with you. No further disclosure to third parties takes place. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

This website uses a single, technically necessary cookie: it stores your selected language (German or English) when you switch the language manually, for a period of one year. It contains no identifying information and is not used for tracking. No analytics, marketing or tracking cookies are used.

The website is hosted by Lovable Labs Inc. (USA). Inquiry data is stored in a Supabase database in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland, EU). Email notifications are sent via Lovable's infrastructure, which uses providers with data centres in the EU and the USA that ensure an adequate level of data protection. Lovable Labs Inc. and Supabase Inc. act as our data processors.

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally. No connections to third-party font services are established and no data is transmitted to them when the site is loaded.

We retain inquiry data for as long as necessary for the matching process and possible follow-up questions, but no longer than 12 months after the completion of the matching process, provided there is no ongoing communication. After this period, the data is deleted.

You have the right to information about the data concerning you, to correction of inaccurate data, and to deletion, insofar as no retention obligation prevents this. Please contact the email address above. If you wish to withdraw your inquiry, we will delete it and inform any photographers already contacted accordingly.

We may amend this privacy policy if data processing or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
