Style and approach

Luminas Wedding Art is run by Nadine Bremer, who goes by Lumi. Based in Thayngen in the canton of Schaffhausen, she covers weddings across Switzerland, both in photos and on video.

She prefers to work unposed: rather than setting up poses, she records what actually happens between people and turns it into the story of the day. Classic weddings are part of her work just as much as celebrations that deliberately go their own way, for example in a gothic or Viking style.

Her published wedding stories show what that looks like: a Celtic-style independent ceremony in autumn, a celebration somewhere between boho and Viking on the Hahnenmoos in Adelboden, and a Viking ceremony in intense heat.

She deliberately keeps the full galleries of these weddings offline. To protect guests and children, she goes through the photos together with interested couples on request, preferably in person.
